Job summary

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to follow safety instructions and work directions.
• Current Food Handler permit or card accepted for the assigned restaurant location and ServSafe certification.
• Ability to learn cleaning, sanitation, food handling and stock storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces and assigned restaurant areas according to schedule.
• Wash, rinse, sanitize and store dishes and utensils; report damaged items or faults.
• Clean restrooms, dining areas, floors and surrounding areas; replenish hygiene supplies and respond to spills.
• Remove waste to designated areas; keep waste containers clean and report signs of pests or leaks.
