Job summary

Odie's in Nashville is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead BOH operations under the General Manager and Director of Operations. You will supervise menu development, service standards, quality control, and labor and food costs for a busy downtown kitchen.

Strong leadership and training skills are required to manage staff, coordinate with events, and uphold food safety guidelines. ServSafe certification and experience in a large kitchen are preferred for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; college or culinary degree preferred.
• Three years minimum experience in a large commercial kitchen operation.
• Experience supervising staff and managing front-of-house daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all kitchen employees to promote exemplary customer service.
• Work with GM to manage labor costs and staffing for daily sales and events.
• Oversee recipes, menu development, food quality, and cost of goods.
• Train and develop BOH safety programs and onboarding for new hires.
• Prepare end-of-month reports and improvement plans for leadership.
