Job summary

PopStroke is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, supervise employees, manage inventory and ensure food quality while delivering seamless service.

Reporting to the Operating Partner and Regional Chef, you will hire and develop staff, maintain safety standards, control costs, and coordinate events. Annual compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 plus bonus, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of varied kitchen experience in roles including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter, with at least 3 years in management.
• Culinary degree strongly preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to delegate tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, inventory, and purchasing.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate kitchen staff; schedule and training.
• Coordinate events and production, ensure timely meal service.
• Monitor costs and maintain par levels; manage payroll-related duties.
