Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a maintenance professional to support casino facilities through mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. You will repair table game equipment, maintain facilities, and assist with setup for promotions and events.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, ability to learn multiple trades, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule to support casino operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate/Technical Degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years related maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn trades such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing and related maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in repair of table game equipment within the pits.
  • Perform maintenance and facilities tasks to support operations (mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, HVAC when applicable).
  • Carry out general installation or adjustment of equipment, move offices, set up promotions, snow removal, lawn care, and other departmental projects.
  • Complete work requests from start to finish in a timely manner.
  • Manage personal tools and ensure they are maintained and accounted for.
  • Sign in/out at shifts and communicate progress to management.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the repair of table game equipment within the table game pits.
  • Performs maintenance and facilities tasks to support the facility operations. The daily maintenance and facilities tasks will include mechanical repairs, plumbing repairs, carpentry repairs, minor electrical repairs and HVAC when applicable, aesthetic repairs, and other tasks assigned by management.
  • Performs other tasks such as general installation or adjustment of equipment, moving offices, setting up marketing promotions, working on snow removal, cutting grass, and any other projects assigned to the department by upper management.
  • Completes work requests from beginning to end in a timely and complete manner.
  • Responsible for his/her own tools, and will keep tools clean and ready for work at all times. Able to borrow special tools and are fully responsible for these until they have been returned and accounted for.
  • Signs in at the beginning of shift and out at the end of shift.
  • Informs management or the Shift lead on the progress of any tasks from previous shift, and pass on pertinent information before end of shift.
  • Communicates and interact professionally with co-workers and other departments. Carry and respond to radio calls and shift telephone as requested.
  • Sets up safety barriers and prepare work area prior to the start of any task that impacts guests or employees.
  • Performs tasks safely and apply all safety precautions and procedures that are applicable such as LOTO, MSDS, PPE, etc.
  • Performs tasks professionally and in a timely fashion in order to diminish the impact on guests and on-going operations.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
  • Responsible for the security of all keys issued, keys in inventory, keys destroyed, and keys turned in by other employees.
