Job summary

Golden Nugget Lake Charles seeks a maintenance professional to support casino-resort operations. You will perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems, walk-through inspections, and repair walk-in coolers, freezers, ovens, and other equipment.

Role requires reading schematics, knowledge of refrigeration gauges, and the ability to work with high voltage. You will maintain logs, ensure a safe work environment, and uphold guest service standards in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with Gaming Commission Regulations and policies.

• Perform preventive maintenance on systems and maintain logs.
• Conduct walk-through inspections and maintain equipment such as coolers, freezers, ovens and dishwashers.
• Work with high voltage and circuit boards.
• Record gauge readings, repairs, and downtime.
• Maintain technical logs and data records.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Report concerns to management and Ethics Hotline as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
• Conducts walk – through inspections; and performs routine maintenance and repair of walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, dish washers, mixers, ovens, stoves, and all other related equipment.
• Work with high voltage and circuit boards.
• Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
• Maintain technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
• Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
• Must be able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, and diagrams and drawings.
