We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to join our award-winning team.
The Kitchen Manager position supports the executive team in effective management of the kitchen instilling exceptional systems and efficiency standards while completing all responsibilities with a sense of urgency.
The position is responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, directing cleaning schedule with attention to detail, monitoring cost relative to loss and amenity needs for breakfast, cocktail hour, and room service.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the Hotel from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Hotel and the Manager will be required to work at least 40 hours per week, sometimes more, including weekend shifts. Precise working hours are subject to change based on the needs of the hotel. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the Hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Assists in providing overall direction and coordination of Hotel Drisco kitchen and food program. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, assigning, and directing tasks, side work, and shift maintenance, performance appraisals, and addressing challenges and conflict when needed.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. High school diploma is preferred.
ServSafe and RBS certifications required.

The salary for this position is $75,000. This is the pay rate for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay.
