OUR OPPORTUNITY

The Eagle, our food and beer hall serving Southern fried chicken and sides, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager. The Kitchen Manager oversees the entire kitchen operation, focusing on people, product, quality, and hospitality. We seek someone passionate and driven to grow with our restaurant group. The Kitchen Manager reports directly to the General Manager. This role involves physical activity, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Lead the back-of-house team
  • Hire, train, schedule, develop team members and managers, and uphold high standards
  • Manage food ordering and receiving
  • Ensure high-quality food through taste tests
  • Oversee food inventory, food costs, labor costs, and brand standards
  • Update and enforce recipes according to brand standards
  • Achieve operational goals related to food costs and quality
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health standards
  • Implement and manage Thunderdome Restaurant Group standards and expectations
