Role Overview

SodexoMagic is seeking a Kitchen Manager/Chef Manager to assist in managing culinary operations within the American Airlines Philadelphia Flagship Lounge at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services to airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention and conference centers, zoos, museums, and more. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Sodexo. What You'll Do
  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

What You Bring
  • a culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends (hotels & restaurants);
  • 2-3 years of kitchen management or chef-level experience within a recognized concept or brand;
  • a demonstrated history of safety and sanitation excellence;
  • servesafe certified;
  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
  • strong coaching and employee development skills; and/or
  • have a passion for food and innovation.
