Job Responsibilities

  • Directing and checking the progress of prep staff, ensuring food quality and consistency.
  • Assisting in hiring and training back-of-the-house employees.
  • Implementing security protocols to ensure safety of employees and guests.
  • Preparing kitchen equipment and production areas daily to boost productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational, safety, sanitation standards, and laws; meeting health inspection standards.
  • Adhering to operational basics including line checks, recipe adherence, and cook times.
  • Verifying all menu items are prepared according to recipes and standards.
  • Managing staffing levels and shift assignments.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
  • Monitoring inventory and placing food and supply orders.
  • Setting a high standard for customer service and team work.

Job Requirements

Dependability, self-reliance, passion for great food, and customer service are essential. Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and teamwork are vital.

Qualifications Include

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience, culinary or kitchen management preferred.
  • Experience in full-service casual dining or casual plus environments preferred.
  • Experience with scratch kitchens is a plus.
  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • At least 21 years old with legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Relocation ability and bilingual skills are a plus.
