Job summary

Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a permanent full-time Kitchen Manager for Fayette County Jail in Connersville, IN. This leadership role requires the ability to work in a structured correctional environment and to read and follow company recipes.

We offer a competitive wage and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K and paid time off, with starting pay at $22.00 per hour. Flexible weekends and varying shifts are required, and we can train the right person.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
• Ability to read and follow company recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

• Read and follow approved recipes and menus.
• Oversee meal preparation, cooking, and cleanup tasks.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
