Job summary

Tigg's Canteen Services seeks a Permanent Full-Time Kitchen Manager for Fayette County Jail in Connersville, IN. The role requires leadership to run the jail kitchen, ensure meals adhere to recipes, and manage daily food preparation and cleanup.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating cooks, and maintaining food safety and quality in a structured correctional environment. Training the right candidate is offered.

Qualifications

• Structured correctional environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow company recipes.
• Lead, instruct and assist with meal preparations including food prep, baking, cooking and cleanup.
• Willingness to train the right person.

Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Permanent Full-Time Kitchen Manager for Fayette County Jail in Connersville IN.

Qualifications include:

• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
• Ability to read and follow company recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 9:00am - 6:00pm)
• Clearance approval into the facility

Previous food service or kitchen experience would be a plus, but we can train the right person!
