Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Kitchen Manager to join our team at WCG in Lone Tree, CO. The Kitchen Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our bustling kitchen. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of meat and seafood, and a strong commitment to quality and consistency.

Compensation

$60,000-70,000 Annual Salary

+10% bonus eligibility (paid quarterly)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain standardized recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards to ensure consistent food presentation and taste
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to plan and execute seasonal menus, specials, and promotions
  • Manage inventory and control food costs by monitoring waste, portion control, and proper storage practices
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional growth among kitchen staff
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and culinary innovations to continuously enhance the menu and kitchen operations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in an Italian or Mediterranean restaurant
  • Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine, including pasta, sauces, pizzas, and traditional Italian dishes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required
