Job summary

Dave & Buster's Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations within a fast-paced restaurant/entertainment setting in Kentwood, MI. You will select, motivate, and manage an elite kitchen team while controlling costs to ensure location profitability.

You will drive menu rollouts, elevate guest experiences, and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across all kitchen activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Restaurant/Hospitality experience
• Proven ability to lead a BOH team and drive results
• Strong cost control and labor management skills
• Ability to create a safe, sanitary kitchen and guest experience

Responsibilities

• You are the head coach of a BOH team, responsible for hiring, training, developing, and retaining top performers
• Create and maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen environment for guests and staff
• Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs
• Understand and enforce safe food-handling procedures
• Collaborate with management to drive profitability at your location

Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• 3+ years of Restaurant/Hospitality experience
• Proficient in managing the cost of goods sold and labor
• Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience
• Proven experience in kitchen management
• Strong business acumen
• The ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Not afraid to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions
