Job description

Are you looking for better hours? We’re open 11 am-9 pm eliminating those difficult late nights.

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to supervise daily back of house restaurant operations. Kitchen Manager responsibilities include actively participating and supervising the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and exceeding safety and cleanliness standards. As a growing restaurant, to be successful in this role, you should be able to prep all of our products as well as manage our kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality food on time. The kitchen staff is currently a small but growing team (as the restaurant grows).

Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
  • Lead food prep and cooking
  • Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
  • Train kitchen staff on prep work and cooking
  • Keep weekly inventory logs * Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)

Skills

Proven work experience as a successful prep and grill cook. Prior leadership role preferred but not required. We’re happy to work with the right individual looking to move up to a leadership role.

Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations

Excellent organizational skills

Conflict management abilities

Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment

Flexibility to work during days, evenings and weekends. Your schedule will be 90% set and can be mostly days as needed but we will need some flexibility to cover any gaps as we grow
