Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew members to become future leaders. You will model teamwork and ensure a great customer experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining food quality and safety, keeping the kitchen clean and stocked, and coaching the team to meet station goals. Prior restaurant experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized.
• Maintain equipment in good repair and repair when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO tasks.
