Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Minnesota is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, quality, and safety while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure the kitchen stays clean, stocked, and well maintained, and you will model teamwork and excellent service for both Crew and guests.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll manage food orders, supervise prep, and support a positive, efficient dining experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support kitchen operations.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Train crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back and front of house crews.
• Ensure food quality and safety through proper storage and handling.
• Monitor equipment and inventory, address maintenance or shortages promptly.
• Promote customer service and throughput through effective communication.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and MSDS/FIFO procedures.
