Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in the United States to guide food preparation, train team members, and uphold safety and quality standards. You’ll manage orders, stock, and processes to deliver delicious meals and a smooth guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, hands-on training, and leading by example on the line. Previous restaurant experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Hold a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well-maintained equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
