Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader in Baltimore to learn food prep, grill meats, and train Crew toward becoming Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality, safety, and a great customer experience while keeping the kitchen stocked and organized.

Responsibilities include cooking to order, supervising cleanliness, managing inventory, and mentoring Crew members to grow into leadership roles. This role emphasizes teamwork and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Train and develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized; assist in equipment maintenance."
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure repairs when needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as required.
