Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide food preparation, ensure quality, and train Crew members for future leadership roles. You will manage stocking, cleanliness, and safety while delivering a great guest experience.

Strong restaurant experience and the ability to communicate effectively with both Crew and customers are essential. This role emphasizes teamwork, operational excellence, and contributing to Chipotle’s mission of serving delicious food responsibly.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle’s policies and procedures; main responsibilities include cooking and prepping food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers for great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized; maintain equipment in good repair.
• Prevent injuries or accidents by meeting safety guidelines for the kitchen.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
