Position Description

As a Kitchen Leader, you will oversee kitchen staff to meet daily goals and tasks, ensuring guest satisfaction and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work cooperatively with the Kitchen Manager to keep expenses within budget and suggest operational improvements.
  2. Keep General Manager/Kitchen Manager informed of issues and propose solutions.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  4. Monitor food temperatures to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  5. Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  6. Coordinate with vendors for supplies and equipment.
  7. Conduct kitchen walk-throughs and temperature checks.
  8. Assist in ordering and receiving supplies, and oversee stocking.
  9. Perform all kitchen functions and assist as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service, taught in-house.
  • Clear communication skills.
Physical Requirements / Environment / Work Conditions:
  • High mobility and flexibility.
  • Ability to work irregular hours under stress during peak times.
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate activities.
  • High coordination skills.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Navigate through openings at least 30” wide.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors.
  • Continuous standing and walking.
