McMenamins Rock Creek Tavern in Hillsboro, OR is hiring for KAAM (Kitchen Assistant–Assistant Manager). The KAAM assists in all kitchen operations under the Chef/Manager, opening and closing duties, and helps maintain guest satisfaction in a fast-paced pub environment.

This on-site, full-time role requires high-volume cooking experience and some supervisory experience; strong customer service, multi-tasking, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have current food handler card.
• Previous high-volume cooking experience is required.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all kitchen operations under the guidance and direction of the Chef/Manager.
• Perform opening and closing duties of the kitchen and oversee shift execution.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and ensure guest satisfaction during service.
• Help regulate labor and food costs and train staff as assigned by management.
