Salt Lake County is seeking a part-time Kitchen Supervisor to lead Kitchen Helpers and volunteers, oversee food preparation, manage inventory, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met for congregate meal service.
The role includes training staff, coordinating orders, maintaining health certificates, and handling daily data forms while ensuring top-notch service and safety in both front and back kitchen areas.

One (1) year of related experience in the food service industry.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, twist, crouch, and be on feet for 3-5 hours at a time. Kitchens may be warm due to cooking. May be required to use a step ladder.
