Job summary

Eggs Up Grill in Laurens, SC seeks a Kitchen Manager to supervise daily back‑of‑house operations, uphold quality standards, sanitation, and portion control, and lead scheduling, hiring, coaching, and discipline as needed.

The role requires ServSafe knowledge, strong leadership, and calm communication in a fast‑paced environment. Weekend availability is required. The position offers $15.00–$18.00 per hour, with hours from 6:00am to 2:00pm, full‑time or part‑time.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in restaurant-related field.
• Experience delegating tasks and maintaining quick service.
• Current ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain within one month of job acceptance.
• Proven work experience as Kitchen Manager preferred.
• References will be required.
• Availability requires regular and ongoing WEEKEND & HOLIDAYS.

Responsibilities

• Guide kitchen staff to deliver high-quality, timely food and customer satisfaction.
• Store, prepare, and portion items per recipes and standards.
• Maintain records for time/temperature, inventory, waste, and safety.
• Discipline and employment decisions for kitchen personnel as needed.
• Order kitchen materials and ingredients based on menu and demand.
• Maintain clean working environments and adherence to preventive maintenance measures.
• Manage weekly inventories and PAR sheets.
• Schedule shifts for BOH personnel fairly and without prejudice.
• Oversee training per Eggs Up Grill Training Manual for safe operation.
