Flix Brewhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager in Des Moines to help lead daily kitchen operations and guide hourly team members. You will work with the Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth service, mentor staff, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

The role requires Serve Safe certification, restaurant experience, and strong teamwork with excellent English communication. Willingness to support in high-demand periods and lift up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Food handling and alcohol service certification (Serve Safe) required.
• Restaurant industry experience required.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
• Self-motivated and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly kitchen staff.
• Act KM on Duty in KM absence.
• Fill cooking positions as needed.
• Participate in regular line checks.
• Lead expeditor during peak hours.
• Mentor and develop hourly team members.
