Dave & Buster's Inc./Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Des Moines, IA to lead our BOH team, drive food-cost controls, and ensure a safe, sanitary kitchen environment. You will recruit, train, and retain top talent while maintaining high standards for quality and guest satisfaction.

You will collaborate with management to optimize profitability, implement new menus, and manage staffing in a fast-paced, entertainment-focused venue.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• 3+ years of Restaurant/Hospitality experience.
• Proficient in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
• Ability to lead a team to create memorable guest experiences.
• Proven kitchen management experience.
• Strong business acumen and weekend/night/holiday availability.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Head coach of BOH team, responsible for hiring, training, developing, and retaining staff.
• Create a well-maintained, safe, secure, and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
• Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs.
• Collaborate with the rest of the management team to drive financial results and optimize profitability.
