Qualifications

• Exhibits excellence in workmanship and care for the craft.
• Working knowledge of kitchen procedures and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work long hours.
• Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible to changing needs.
• ServSafe certified.
• Knowledge of handling food allergies.
• Able to work with individuals of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and follow schedule.
• Prepare food according to menu needs and plan ahead for meals.
• Serve meals on time according to daily schedules.
• Adopt a clean-as-you-go policy in the kitchen.
• Adhere to ServSafe guidelines.
• Turn off and secure all equipment at day's end.
• Clean equipment, counters, stoves, ovens, and surfaces.
• Oversee kitchen staff and assign tasks as needed.
• Close the kitchen with proper shutdown and laundry/dining room checks.
• Lock office and secure facilities at end of day.
