Job Summary
As a GetGo Kitchen Lead, you will exceed customer and Team Member needs and expectations by providing safe, efficient, accurate, and pleasant food service. You will also guide and coach Team Members, ensuring the store runs smoothly. This role offers a fast track to store leadership — coaching, supervising, and leading the kitchen team, often on behalf of the Store Leader.

Job Description

- Experience Desired: Supervisory role and food service experience
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing Preferred: Food Safety

Job Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of work for Team Members, customers, and products.
- Meet and exceed customer and Team Member needs by providing safe, efficient, accurate, and friendly food service, along with coaching and guidance to Team Members, and excellent service to vendors and stakeholders.
- Foster a fast, friendly culture by sharing warmth and passion for service with a smile.
- Assist management in achieving sales and profit goals by encouraging sampling and suggestions, while managing shrink.
- Monitor quality control in the kitchen and during food and supply orders.
- Maintain scheduling flexibility by ensuring all Team Members are cross-trained on all positions.
- Be adaptable to lead in the Kitchen or step in as a GoGetter as needed.
- Keep restrooms exceptionally clean and well-stocked.
- Monitor competitor fuel pricing and collaborate with partners to stay competitive.
- Address equipment issues promptly.
- Ensure Team Members have access to proper training and resources.
- Provide training and leadership to hourly Team Members and peer Leads when assigned.
- Supervise product merchandising and safety compliance, including safety audits and food safety certifications.
- Set and promote sales and performance goals, providing tools for achievement.
- Identify team strengths and opportunities, and plan strategically for scheduling and development.
- Encourage an inclusive and diverse environment where each Team Member's voice is valued.
