Base pay range

Job Summary

As a GetGo Kitchen Lead, you will exceed customer and Team Member needs and expectations by providing safe, efficient, accurate, and pleasant food service. You will also provide guidance and coaching to Team Members, ensuring the store runs smoothly. This role offers a fast track to store leadership — coaching, supervising, and leading the kitchen team, often on behalf of the Store Leader.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of work for Team Members, customers, and products.
• Exceed customer and Team Member needs by providing excellent food service, guidance, coaching, and exemplary service to vendors and stakeholders.
• Foster a friendly, warm culture with a smile, sharing passion for service with Team Members and customers.
• Assist management in achieving sales and profit goals by encouraging sampling and managing shrink.
• Monitor quality control in the kitchen and during food and supply ordering.
• Ensure all Team Members are cross-trained for flexibility in scheduling.
• Lead the team in the Kitchen and step in as needed in other roles.
• Keep restrooms clean and well-stocked.
• Monitor competitor fuel pricing and collaborate to stay competitive.
• Address equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure Team Members have access to training and resources.
• Provide training and leadership to hourly Team Members and peer Leads when assigned.
• Supervise product merchandising, safety audits, and food safety certifications.
• Set and promote sales and performance goals, providing tools for achievement.
• Identify team strengths and opportunities, and plan strategically for scheduling.
• Foster an inclusive and diverse environment where every Team Member's voice is valued.
