Responsibilities
  • Lead food preparation and ensure quality and presentation standards
  • Proficiently lead all kitchen positions, adhering to Tokyo Joe's standards and procedures
  • Manage kitchen prep lists and ensure completion
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance
  • Handle knives proficiently
  • Manage team through positive communication, teamwork, and delegation
  • Open and close the restaurant to high standards
  • Verify food deliveries and organize FIFO
  • React quickly to crises and changes
