Job summary

This Is It! Southern Kitchen & BBQ is seeking a reliable kitchen helper to maintain the kitchen, sanitize surfaces, and support food prep. The role involves basic dishwashing, inventory stocking, ice machine duties, and general cleaning duties in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old with no allergies to food or chemicals, and bilingual Spanish is a plus. Regular hours, with some evenings and weekends, may apply.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• No food allergies.
• No chemical allergies.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish beneficial.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize and rinse dishes and equipment according to health regulations.
• Stock inventory according to par guidelines.
• Fill ice machines as needed.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and tools.
• Assist with food prep as needed (FIFO labeling).
• Lobby maintenance in small locations.
• Restroom maintenance log.
• Parking lot/Trash area monitoring.
• Assist with fulfilling catering orders as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
