Hyatt Place Fort Worth Historic Stockyards is seeking an Entry Level Kitchen Host to deliver a welcoming, efficient breakfast experience and greet guests as they begin their day.

As the first point of contact in the morning, you will manage seating, support breakfast operations, and uphold Hyatt Place service standards with a friendly, guest-focused approach in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Kitchen Host is responsible for creating a welcoming, friendly, and efficient breakfast experience for guests at Hyatt Place Fort Worth. As the first point of contact in the morning, this role sets the tone for the day by greeting guests warmly, managing seating flow, and supporting smooth breakfast operations while delivering genuine hospitality rooted in Hyatt Place service standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival to the breakfast area, creating a friendly and welcoming start to each guest’s day.
• Monitor guest traffic and manage breakfast flow to ensure seating availability, smooth circulation, and positive guest experiences.
• Assist guests with breakfast seating, including accommodating accessibility needs, families, groups, or special requests when possible.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with kitchen and hotel team members regarding guest volume, replenishment needs, or service concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the breakfast area, host stand, and entry points in accordance with Hyatt Place brand standards and health regulations.
• Assist guests with questions regarding breakfast offerings, hours of service, dietary considerations, or hotel amenities.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance comfort and convenience.
• Address guest concerns or complaints calmly and professionally, escalating issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Support breakfast operations during peak service periods by assisting with light resets, clearing tables, stocking service items, or directing guest flow as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting other departments or tasks when business needs require, while maintaining a guest-focused mindset.
• Uphold Hyatt Place service standards, hotel policies, and core values in all guest and team interactions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with grooming and uniform standards.
• All other duties as assigned.

ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the breakfast and public areas for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work early morning shifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a guest-facing role with frequent interaction and moderate noise levels.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in breakfast service or food & beverage environments.
• Familiarity with Hyatt Place service standards a plus.
• Knowledge of the local Fort Worth area to assist guests when needed.
