Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following procedures.
• Assist in bussing, serving, and delivery of room trays if needed.
• Set tables in the dining room and keep the dishwashing area clean.
• Assist Chefs/Cooks in cleaning serving areas and equipment.
• Complete dishwasher temperature logs at required times.
• Operate as part of the food services team to ensure safe kitchen operation.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation practices and procedures.
• Treat residents and staff with dignity and respect.
