Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily commissary kitchen operations, including food preparation, production, baking support, catering event support, cleaning and dishwashing.

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for supporting our daily commissary kitchen operations with a wide range of tasks such as food preparation, food production, baking support, catering event support, cleaning and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
