Job summary

Eurest is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker at a Calgary location to support daily operations across housekeeping, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. You will help maintain clean resident areas and assist with serving and meal delivery within a healthcare setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independent work, and a strong command of English, with preference for candidates holding a Food Handler Certificate and prior healthcare or long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Housekeeping and food services experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong command of English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties including maintaining the cleanliness of residents' rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, setting up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow health & safety guidelines, report injuries and hazards to the supervisor and comply with management requests.

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
