Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to join our school food service program in Janesville. You'll help prep simple menu items, serve students, and keep the kitchen clean and organized while following recipes and safety guidelines.

This is an active, team-oriented role with a daytime schedule. The position is on-site at the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton School District, Mon-Fri 9am-2:30pm, with a pay range of $14.00-$15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep station stocked, follow serving-size guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes and maintain clean storage areas and equipment using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety, complete basic logs, assist with production records, and keep a safe workspace.
• Communicate supply needs and updates to team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and assist with prep lists.
• Assist teammates and train new team members as needed.

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable, team-focused Kitchen Helper to join our school food service program. In this role you'll keep meal service running smoothly by helping prep simple menu items, serving students, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. It's an active, team-focused role that makes a real impact on students' day.

What You'll Do

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep your station stocked, and follow serving-size and special-diet guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes like fruit and veggie bars or baked goods while keeping kitchen, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety and compliance Follow food-safety steps, complete basic logs, assist with production records and help maintain a safe workspace.
• Communicate supply needs, feedback, and updates to your team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and help with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Jump in where needed from helping teammates, training new team members and assisting when someone is out.

• Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and convert quantities for large batches.
