Job summary

Martin Restaurants Inc is seeking a diligent kitchen porter/dishwasher to support our busy Georgia restaurant in Darien. You will wash, dry, and store dishes, unload deliveries, and help cooks by preparing ingredients, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Ideal candidates have restaurant experience, HS diploma, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Valid transportation is required; medical, dental, and vision benefits are available.

  • Must have 3-12 months of restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Taking out the garbage and replacing garbage bags.
  • Washing, drying, and putting away all dishes and kitchen utensils.
  • Unloading food supplies from delivery trucks.
  • Helping cooks prepare for meals by washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients.
  • Packing takeout orders for customers.
  • Clearing and cleaning tables for Waitstaff when necessary.
  • Refilling condiments or other supplies at tables.
