Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to support our school food service at Auburn School District. You will prep simple items, serve students, and help keep the kitchen clean and organized in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

This on-site daytime role offers Monday through Friday work with a 6:30am to 1pm schedule, opportunities to learn, and a pathway to broader food-service responsibilities while contributing to student meals, safety, and good service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep and service of menu items, keep station stocked.

• Maintain food safety and complete basic logs.
• Communicate supply needs and updates to the team.
• Stock and serve items during meal service.
• Support teammates and help train new staff when needed.

Kitchen Helper - Lunchtime Solutions

Location: On-site at Auburn School District

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-1pm

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable, team-focused Kitchen Helper to join our school food service program. In this role you'll keep meal service running smoothly by helping prep simple menu items, serving students, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. It's an active, team-focused role that makes a real impact on students' day.

What You'll Do

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep your station stocked, and follow serving-size and special-diet guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes like fruit and veggie bars or baked goods while keeping kitchen, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety and compliance. Follow food-safety steps, complete basic logs, assist with production records and help maintain a safe workspace.
• Communicate supply needs, feedback, and updates to your team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and help with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Jump in where needed from helping teammates, training new team members and assisting when someone is out.
