Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper for the Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools on-site. The role supports meal service by prepping simple items, serving students, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. It is an active, team-driven position with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

You will follow recipes, measure ingredients, and assist with prep lists and production records while helping maintain a safe workspace. A valuable entry path in school nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Prep and serve menu items, stock station, and follow serving-size guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes and keep kitchen, storage areas, and equipment clean using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety, complete basic logs, assist with production records, and keep workspace safe.
• Communicate supply needs and updates to team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and assist with prep lists.
• Assist teammates and training when needed.

Kitchen Helper – Lunchtime Solutions

Location: On-site at Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools

Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30am-1:30pm

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable, team‑focused Kitchen Helper to join our school food service program. In this role you’ll keep meal service running smoothly by helping prep simple menu items, serving students, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. It’s an active, team‑focused role that makes a real impact on students’ day.

What You’ll Do

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep your station stocked, and follow serving‑size and special‑diet guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes like fruit and veggie bars or baked goods while keeping kitchen, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety and compliance. Follow food‑safety steps, complete basic logs, assist with production records and help maintain a safe workspace.
• Communicate supply needs, feedback, and updates to your team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and help with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Jump in where needed from helping teammates, training new team members and assisting when someone is out.
