Job summary

Qdoba Baken Park is hiring for a kitchen team member responsible for overall food quality, cleanliness, and service during events. You will prepare items using approved recipes, monitor taste and presentation, and ensure safe handling and rotation of products.

You will engage with guests and team members, assist in line service, and help maintain a clean environment. Prior kitchen experience and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are valued in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; English communication required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Past restaurant/kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food according to approved recipes, proper portioning, and logs/tools.
• Conducts visual and taste tests to ensure high quality.
• Restocks front line during peak volumes and with inventory planning.
• Maintains food safety standards and reports discrepancies.
• Prepares food volume based on sales and inventory.
• Receives orders, cleans and rotates items in walk-in cooler.
• Assists in inventory control and presentation of food.
• Ensures items are prepared at peak volume times.
