Job summary

Arapahoe Fire Protection is seeking a dependable Fire Suppression / Kitchen Hood Inspector to join our service team in Wheat Ridge/Aurora, CO. This role inspects and maintains commercial kitchen fire suppression systems and portable extinguishers at customer sites across the Denver metro area.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting or servicing commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Experience with portable fire extinguisher inspection and service is a plus.
• Certifications such as ANSUL or AMEREX preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Able to work on ladders and in restaurant/kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service commercial kitchen fire suppression systems per requirements.
• Inspect and service portable extinguishers as trained.
• Identify deficiencies and conditions affecting operation.
• Perform minor repairs and component replacements as qualified.
• Complete inspection reports and work orders accurately and on time.
• Explain inspection results and deficiencies to customers.
• Coordinate repair needs with the service team.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Follow safety procedures and site requirements.
• Work independently with dispatch and customers.
• Assist with other fire protection service work as needed.
