Job summary

V&E Hospitality Group is seeking dedicated and reliable Dishwashers to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment in Miami. The Dishwasher will operate commercial dishwashing equipment, ensure cleanliness of dishes and utensils, and support the kitchen staff as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean kitchen, sorting dishes, adhering to safety and sanitation standards, and monitoring supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Kitchen Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area by regularly emptying trash, cleaning food preparation areas, and ensuring equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Utensil and Equipment Sorting: Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in an organized manner for easy access by kitchen staff.
• Assist Kitchen Team: Provide support to kitchen staff as needed, including helping with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks during busy periods.
• Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and report any shortages or issues with dishwashing supplies and equipment.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
