Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member for dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness. You will wash and sanitize dinnerware, maintain floors and equipment, assist with deliveries, and support a fast-paced kitchen environment while delivering courteous service to customers and fellow team members.

This role requires punctuality, readiness, and adherence to health, safety, and standard operating procedures. No prior retail experience is required, and there is potential for schedule flexibility

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
