Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to maintain dishwashing duties and overall kitchen cleanliness while delivering courteous service. You will follow SOPs, assist with deliveries, and support team members and customers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, proper storage, and adherence to health and safety standards. Prior retail experience is not required, and the position offers Whole Benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health and safety regulations; maintains equipment cleanliness.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
