Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Boise, Idaho is seeking a dishwashing Team Member to keep the kitchen area clean and running smoothly. You will wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and cookware, maintain floors and surfaces, assist with deliveries, and support team members in providing friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health and sanitation regulations and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment to WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
