Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Bend, Oregon seeks a dedicated team member for dishwashing and keeping the kitchen area clean and sanitary. You will help maintain a safe, efficient work environment while providing courteous service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, assisting with deliveries, stocking, and following health and safety procedures. No prior retail experience is required; training is provided, with growth opportunities within the store.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment to safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
