Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead on-site kitchen and dining room operations in Irving, TX. You will supervise staff, ensure timely meal preparation, and uphold HACCP and health/safety standards. The role requires culinary expertise with a degree preferred, flexibility in recipes, and strong food service management.

This is a full-time, rotating 8-hour shift position. Compensation ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, with on-site duties at the Irving location.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or in progress of completion of a Culinary degree, preferred.
• The Chef must possess thorough culinary skills and can cook well for a difficult population.
• Ability to flex recipes to meet nutritional needs and taste preferences of the population.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for kitchen and dining room operations during open/close shifts.
• Oversee daily production, food rotation (FIFO), and staffing plans.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Oversee dishwashing, sanitation, and waste removal.
• Maintain HACCP procedures across kitchen and dining areas.
• Manage shift employees and ensure cleaning protocols are followed.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of all foods.
