Job summary

Cornerstone Treatment Facility Network is seeking Temporary Full Time & Part Time Dietary Aides to join our Dietary Department in New York. Responsibilities include preparing food per standardized recipes, serving patients and staff, and maintaining kitchen sanitation in a healthcare setting.

We require basic English literacy, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and prefer prior kitchen experience. 1199 benefits and equal opportunity employer statements are noted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in quantities to meet service requirements and follow recipes to ensure quality and minimize waste.
• Serve patients and staff when assigned.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and kitchen area, including floors.
• Receive deliveries and verify receipts against specifications and orders.
• Collect trash and dispose of it properly.
• Perform other assignments as delegated or required.

Cornerstone Treatment Facility Network is a respected leader and innovator in the chemical dependency treatment field for more than 25 years. We are currently seeking Temporary Full Time & Part Time Dietary Aides to join our Dietary Department.

General Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Preparation of all food in sufficient quantities to cover all service requirements, timing preparation to meet service schedules, and food handling in accordance with sanitary standards. Uses standardized recipes and portion control to prevent food waste and to assure high quality of products served.

• Serve patients and staff when assigned

• Responsible for the overall sanitation requirements of equipment and complete kitchen area including, but not limited to, sweeping & mopping
  floors.

• Receives deliveries and checks receipts against specifications and orders, as required.

• Collect trash and dispose of it properly

• Perform other assignments as delegated or required.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read and write in English

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
