Job summary

Home Surplus in New Jersey is hiring a Kitchen Designer to help customers bring dream kitchens to life and grow sales. Depending on experience, you may start as a Design Associate or Senior Designer, with room to advance in a growing company.

You’ll use 2020 design software to create layouts, quote projects, manage orders, and deliver a consultative, high‑touch experience that earns referrals. Some Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• Experience with 2020 Design or similar software.
• Knowledge of kitchen fixtures and basic residential construction.
• Great listener, organized, reliable, and detail-focused.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Enjoys consultative selling to help customers make the best choices.
• Able to work retail hours, including some Saturdays.
