Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking a Kitchen Crew Member in Hayward, CA to support back-of-house operations. This hourly role offers $20.00 per hour and contributes to food preparation, stocking, and quality control in a fast-casual setting.

You will follow health codes and safety procedures, assist with cooking, and help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen. Flexible shifts and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Food handler card required by state or local health department.
• Basic math and English written/verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation required to commute to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Perform food preparation, stocking of inventory, food quality and portion control when cooking and serving food at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure the food is served accurately and timely to customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Part-time or full-time.
