Ono Hawaiian BBQ in Mesa, AZ is seeking Kitchen Crew Members to support back-of-house operations, food prep, stocking, and order assembly on the cookline. This hourly role offers competitive pay and opportunities to contribute to a busy kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have a food handler certification, good math and communication skills, reliable transportation, and a customer-service orientation. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available, with benefits and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills, basic English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Perform food preparation, stocking of inventory, food quality and portion control when cooking and serving food at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure the food is served accurately and timely to customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
